Discover the most upcoming wine area in Crete through this unique experience in Chania!
We will meet to your hotel in Chania and move on to Omalos.We will pass through a nice route, among areas full of Orangetrees and we will finally arrive to the Winery Nostos by family Manousaki in Vatolakos. There sommelier Afshin Molavi will welcome us. We will have a short introduction and we will move on to the garden with all the fruits and further on to the old rocky winery. Finally we will end up to the new and contemporary winery for 100% biological wine. We will have a short guided tour in the winery and we will have wine tasting of 5 different wines..After our tour we will go back to BOAK travelling east. Driving with direction to Sfakia, we will reach the area of Alikampou. Surrounded by beautiful natural scenery we will see the rocky- wooden building where the Winery of Family Ntouraki is based.To the botanical garden of Mr Andreas, Mrs Evi and Mr Antonis Ntourakis will welcome us to their winery. We will see the rocky treadle which is 500years old and we will walk on the path of grapes. After the wine tasting we will have a wine meal in the special room of the winery. We will have 3course meal with 1 glass of wine, separate in each course so as to boosten the taste!After lunch, we will taste the traditional tsikoudia and we will take the way back to Chania.
